The new monitor range carries the name W53 SMART and come in widescreen format with 18.5 to 27 inch sizes available. Contrast ratios go up to 50,000:1 and response times are 2ms. Anything over 21.5 inches also sports 1920 x 1080 resolutions making them suitable for all tasks and capable in a line-up against competitors.
Finally the displays have a Cinema Mode that is capable of making the screen dark around a movie being played back. This allows you to focus on the movie without any distractions or additional light source which may interfere with what you are viewing.
The W53 SMART range will be available this month across most markets worldwide including the US and Europe. Pricing has yet to be confirmed.
