Intel Debuts White Box Netbook Design for China

Intel Logo

Here’s good news for Chinese vendors from Intel.

Now, the small computer manufacturers can provide netbook package bundles in different configurations.

According to Digitimes, Intel has designed four different packages for white-box vendors in China to develop an array of products that can be targeted at different segments. All four packages feature the Intel Atom N270 CPU, an Intel 945GSE chipset, at least 512MB RAM, either an 8GB or a 16GB solid state drive and a Linux Operating system.

It is probably Intel’s own Moblin Linux distribution.
