White iPhone 4 to enter in the market

Here's the good news for iPhone lovers. Seems like the white iPhone 4 will arrive in the market in the near future. As a matter of fact, the image of the handset was spotted at the web site of Best Buy. The image was spotted by MacRumours.

It reveals two models that came with 16 GB as well as 32GB of storage. The white iPhone is expected to land on Sunday 27th February, 2011. Similar leak is offered by Vodafone Germany that reveals the iPhone 4 White can be on track for an imminent release. It was last speculated that the handset was headed towards Sprint 2011.

Due to numerous obstacles Apple had to postpone the release of the white handset. Still it is widely considered that the delay of the handset is due to color matching issues. As a matter of fact, Foxconn is trying to match white color of the handset’s home button to the bright white of its front plate.

It is still unknown whether the handset is available in the market by the end of February, but still let’s wait and hope that soon we will be able to see the white iPhone 4.

India Launches Full Nationwide Mobile Number Portability

Mobile Number Portability (MNP) has finally, after many delays, been launched across India today. The launch of the nationwide service was staged by Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh making an inaugural call to Shri Kapil Sibal, the Union Minister of Communications & IT from a ported number.

Mobile Number Portability (MNP) Service will allow subscribers to retain their existing Mobile Telephone Number even when they switch from one access service provider to another irrespective of mobile technology or from one technology to another technology of the same or any other access service provider within the same service area.

TRAI has put a ceiling of Rs. 19/- on porting charges which the new service provider may collect from the subscriber. Post-paid subscribers before making the porting request, have to make sure that their last bill has been paid failing which the request for change to a new service provider shall be rejected. In the case of pre-paid subscriber any balance amount left will not be carried forward when the number is transferred to the new service provider.

Knight Rider is now a Smart Car

RoboCar ZMP gets an upgrade. At the time, it was a little robot head on a car frame that came off as cute. Clearly, the Robocar MEV has grown up a little, and looks more like a real car!

Well, a Smart Car, at least. It is definitely following the Knight Rider model as it is self driving! Since it is electric, it is a gentler, more eco-conscious KITT.

So how does it drive on its own? It uses GPS as well as front and rear sensors. It sounds like you can actually buy one now. A self-driving car that isn’t some concept car for a future date? Check the prices out after the jump.

The simplest version, Type A, is about $35,000, and it only has speed control. Type B is at $59,000 and has steering control as well as speed. As for type C, it has automatic braking control as well as imaging and inertial sensors for a price of $84,000.
