HTC Snap - QWERTY Smartphone

HTC has announced the launch of its latest QWERTY smartphone, called the HTC Snap. No, its nowhere connected to snapping images! This phone focuses on an easy way to stay in contact with loved ones.

Highlighting the “Inner Circle” feature, HTC’s Snap boasts of its ability to automatically prioritize email from the most important people who revolve around our lives. All that is expected from users is to punch a dedicated key, transferring all the emails of the pre-selected contacts to the top of their inbox. With this, users can easily respond to important messages.

Measuring 116.5 x 61.5 x 12mm and weighing 120g, the sleek device sports a 2.4-inch 320 x 240 resolution, a trackball controller, a full QWERTY keyboard with extra-large domed keys and one-touch hotkeys for messenging emails and inner circle. This feature will help prevent any missed high priority e-mail messages and cut down on time spent searching through a full inbox.

The HTC Snap has 3G connectivity, a 2-megapixel camera with video capture, and a vendor talk time of 8.5 hours. Measuring 4.6 by 2.4 by 0.5 inches, the HTC Snap is similar in size to the BlackBerry Curve 8900 on T-Mobile.
