In the fringes of technological innovation, HCL has showed the first-of-its-kind computing device that not only promises to perform better and faster but also offers an entertainment package. Called the HCL Leaptop Z39, the power-packed laptop has hit the Indian market for all the segment of consumers.
At the heart of the machine is the latest Intel Centrino 2 processor (core 2 duo) and offers an 8GB RAM, 500 GB HDD and DVD Dual Layar Super multi drive. It features a 14.1-inch widescreen display, Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium OS, a 2.0 megapixel video camera with dual internal microphone, an integrated Bluetooth v2.0, a 4-in-1 card reader, Ethernet and built-in speaker system.It also offers a battery life of up to 4 hours, RoHS support and the Energy Star 4.0 ‘Category A’ certification with an ability to consume below 1.7W of energy in sleep mode and less than 1W in stand-by mode.
With 14.1-inch wide screen, HCL Leaptop Z39 carries a price tag of Rs 59,990. Prospective buyers can grab the new HCL laptop from HCL DigiLife stores, premium Large Format Retail and other HCL retail outlets. According to executive vice president at HCL Infosystems, George Paul, the introduction of HCL Leaptop Z39 is part of company's 'design for India' product strategy.
